It’s been almost two years since our return to South Africa after seven productive years in Prague. Our mission was to save the place founded and created by my brother – scientist, researcher and author Michael Tellinger. We can honestly say that we gave it our all and accomplished our mission. Stone Circle Lodge is once again a beautiful compound with the addition of six new chalets, a menu of delicious soul food from the lodge gardens, a great crew of devoted people, and tours to the magnificent sacred sites in the region. It was quite a challenge suddenly going from four gigs a week to four a year and not being full-time musicians for the first time ever, but we presented a few jazz and blues weekends with some great friends and colleagues from the city and had a lot of fun with it. We’re currently taking a beat and thinking bout the next challenge to tackle and the next location to conquer. There will definitely be more music in our next chapter and it feels like it might even be near the ocean. So watch this space and hopefully we will meet in the not-too-distant future.
