TELLINGER and FRESK is a collaboration between South African jazz singer, composer and educator Barbora Tellinger, and American jazz wunder-pianist John Fresk, who has played with Bobby McFerrin, Chick Corea and Nancy King, to name but a few. They met by chance in 2011, and since then their American-style jazz has been thrilling audiences from Cape Town to Prague, performing as duo, trio, quartet or with their acclaimed big band project, Between Berlin & Bebop. They have recorded four albums together, comprising original material and some rare gems from the American songbook. After seven productive years living in Prague and touring extensively, their return to South Africa finds them in the beautiful Elands River Valley in Mpumalanga, where they present monthly jazz weekends in their new home, the renowned Stone Circle Lodge.
